The ClearBlue Fertility Monitor works by tracking the LH and Estrogen levels in your urine through test sticks. The monitor reads the test sticks for Low, High and Peak fertility days.

What exactly is the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor?
An over the counter conception aid that can help you maximize your chances of conceiving your baby better than any other method. It is the most advanced technology available without a prescription. It is the first and only palm-sized electronic system that tracks your personal hormones to provide you with an unmistakable display of your personal level of fertility every day of your cycle. The Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor measures 2 key hormones to more accurately identify more fertile days than any other over the counter method while storing your personalized data for up to six cycles.

If your cycles are between 21 and 42 days, the monitor will determine peak fertility for you. Intercourse during High and Peak fertility days will maximise your chances at conception. You must start using the monitor by the 5th day of your cycle.

An average 6 days of fertlity will be identified. Most women will find 1 to 5 days of High Level Days before arriving at their 2 Peak days of fertility. Use of the ClearBlue / ClearPlan fertility monitor also removes any subjective interpretation of line intensity that can occur in a visual reading.

This item consists a monitor that uses 4 AAA batteries(not included). Based on the start of the menstrual cycle, it will ask the user to perform a test stick reading for 10 or 20 consecutive days depending on the length of her cycle and the timing of her luteinising hormone (LH) surge. (Test Sticks are no longer included by the manufacturer.) The Clear Blue Fertility Monitor will show the fertility status (Low, High or Peak) during the cycle. Having intercourse on days of High and Peak Fertility maximises the chances of conception. Not for use by women with PCOS.
